Welcome to the Online Civil Rights Training

At Long Island Cares, ensuring equal access and fair treatment for all individuals is at the core of what we do. This Civil Rights Training is essential for everyone involved in the program. It provides a clear understanding of the federal laws and regulations that prohibit discrimination, ensuring that our services are accessible and equitable to all.

By completing this training, provided by TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program), you are helping uphold the highest standards of inclusion and fairness within our community. Thank you for your commitment!

How to Complete the Training:

  1. Review the Presentation: Please review the Civil Rights Training Presentation. The presentation is available in multiple formats. Either select the video format to follow along as the presentation is narrated or simply read the PDF presentation also available for download. The content is the same for each, it is not necessary to review both formats.
  2. Take the Quiz: Once you review the training presentation, please take the online Civil Rights Quiz. The quiz consists of 10 questions. Upon successful completion of the quiz you will receive your certificate via email.
