Chefs with various backgrounds prepare batch-cooking recipes featuring a variety of ingredients found in our pantry and teach you proper kitchen skills to help you prepare and cook savory dishes and store your food safely.
Join us Friday, Oct. 18th to cook with Sister Lisa, Nepomucent Parish Social Ministry and the Bob Walther Food Pantry.
Sister Lisa will teach us how to prepare two different soups and a delicious baked dessert using items from the pantry.

As the Director of St. John Nepomucene Parish Social Ministry, which includes the Bob Walther Food Pantry, Sister Lisa, brings a lifelong passion for cooking and service to her community. Raised in a small Connecticut town, she learned to cook from her parents and has dedicated her life to serving others as a teacher, attorney, and advocate for foster children. Since 2010, she has led the Parish Social Ministry, blending her love of cooking with her commitment to community care, striving to make a positive impact every day.
